Attorney Douglas L. Hebert, Jr.
Attorney Hebert has more than 40 years of experience and is well-equipped to assist you with estate planning, real estate law, and litigation. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Louisiana State University before earning his Juris Doctor from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. He won the Tullis Moot Court Competition, a competition for second-year students that determines the Moot Court Board for the following year. Attorney Hebert served as the prosecutor for the 33rd Judicial District for 18 years before returning to private practice.
Attorney Michael B. Holmes
After earning his bachelor's degree in microbiology, Attorney Holmes graduated in the top 15% of his class from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. With more than 20 years of experience, he assists clients with family law, litigation and other legal issues. Attorney Holmes was a member of the Louisiana Law Review, a reputable legal journal, during his time in law school. He has served on the House of Delegates of the Louisiana State Bar Association since 1996.
Attorney Mary Hebert Holmes
After earning her bachelor's degree in English Literature from Louisiana State University, Attorney Holmes graduated in the top third of her class from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center of Louisiana State University. She was a Tullis Moot Court semi-finalist and earned a reputation as a skilled lawyer. She has 17 years of experience and assists clients with probate and estate planning. In addition to her work with successions, she handles real estate matters and is a Title Agent and title examiner.
Attorney Roderick G. Bertrand
Attorney Bertrand is well-educated and experienced attorney. He holds a bachelor's degree in microbiology and a bachelor's degree and master's degree in vocational agriculture from Louisiana State University. He taught high school agriculture and served the administration of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana before earning his Juris Doctor from the South Texas College of Law. With 24 years of experience, he assists clients with succession, probate, and other legal areas. In addition to his work at the firm, he serves as the Elton city attorney and magistrate and is the First Assistant District Attorney for the 33rd Judicial District Attorney.
